Harvest Potluck
/When: Oct. 5, 1-4 pm
The seasons have changed and we want to celebrate before the holiday madness hits!
How about getting together to salute the passing of a great summer, sip on a mulled cider and feast on a potluck with your fellow members? Did you grow a garden this year? Bring a favorite fall food on a dish made with some of your produce served on a piece from your pottery collection! This social event was planned by our newly elected President, Deborah Schwartzkopf. Thanks goes out to Paul Lewing, who is hosting the event at his home and studio, 105 N. 200th St., Shoreline WA 98133
If you need to contact Paul with any questions about this, his number is 206-801-7332, email is pjlewing@comcast.net lawn chairs and stories to share!
Here are the Directions:
From I-5: Through Seattle heading north, go all the way up past the city limit to exit 176, which is 175th Street.(do not get off at the ‘bus only’ exit, before this one).
At the light, turn left (west) and go across Aurora/Hwy 99 to Fremont Ave N.
Turn Right onto Fremont. (you’ll be going north again).
Go to the stop sign at 200th Street and turn left (west again).
We are about 1/3 of a mile down 200th, between Fremont and 3rd NW (major streets).
We are actually on the corner of 1st NW, between Palatine N and 1st NW. Ours is the third driveway on the left past Palatine. Look for the white stones at the end of the driveway.
It is a cream colored house with rust color trim, set back from the street behind some cypress trees. There is a wrought iron fence across the front.
From Aurora/HWY 99-
You can follow 99 all the way out to 200th, turn left (away from Costco), cross
Fremont and follow the directions above.
Alternate I 5 coming north – if you feel confident of negotiating the Edmonds exit
(#177), head towards Edmonds and follow the directions below.
From I 5 coming south, get off at the Edmonds exit, turn right onto Lake Ballinger
Way/205th. At the second light (there’s a Union 76 station) turn left onto
Meridian Ave N and go to 200th, turn right. Go past Costco, across Aurora,
through the stop on Fremont and we are the 3rd driveway on the left past
Palatine N (which is down in a dip in the road).
From Bothell Way (Rt522), turn onto Ballinger Way at Third Place Books, come
under I5 and follow directions just above.
You can park in front of the house or across the street on 200th. There’s one parking space in front of the old garage that’s part of the house, but the studio is up the driveway in back. Let’s save the driveway for handicap access. Use it if you need it. There’s room for about 3 cars on the driveway. You can also park on Palatine Ave. N around the corner to the east, or along 1st Ave. NW just to the west.
